Date Set for 'Sex' Sequel
Warner Bros, and New Line will release "Sex and the City 2" in theaters on May 28, 2010.
Film sequel reunites directorwriter Michael Patrick King with his four leading ladies: Sarah Jessica Parker. Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon luid Kristin Davis. John Melfi returns to produce with King and Parker. "Sex 2" will bow in the same slot in which "Sex and the City" opened in 2008.
The bigscrcen adaptation of the hit HBO series was a runaway box office hit, opening to $57 million on its way to euming $152.6 million domestically.
Pic made an even stronger showing overseas, grossing $260 million at the international box office for a worldwide total of $412.6 million. So far, sequel doesn't have any direct competition over the May 28- 30 weekend. The following frame.

Be Reconciled!
"Leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way.
First be reconciled to your brother,
and then come and offer your gift."
It is useless to give offerings to God while you are at enmity with your brother. Jesussaid that His followers should be reconciled with anyone who has something against them. The world seeks reconciliation on limited terms. Christians are to be reconciled, whatever it takes.
You say, "But you don't know how deeply he hurt me! It's unreasonable to ask me to restore our relationship." Or, "I tried but she would not be appeased." Jesus did not include an exception clause for our reconciliation. If the person is an enemy, Jesus said to love him (Matt. 5:44). If he persecutes you, you are to pray for him (v. 44).If she publicly humiliates you, you are not to retaliate (v. 39). If someone takes advantage of you, you are to give even more than he asks (v. 41). The world preaches "Assert yourself." Jesus taught, "Deny yourself." The world warns that you will be constantly exploited. Jesus' concern was not that His disciples be treated fairly but that they show unconditional love to others regardless of how they are treated. Men spat upon Jesus and nailed Him to a cross. His response was our model: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do" (Luke 23:34).
If there were ever a command that is constantly disobeyed, it is this mandate to be reconciled. We comfort ourselves with the thought, "God knows that I tried to make things right, but my enemy refused." God's Word does not say "Try to be reconciled," but "Be reconciled." Is there someone with whom you need to make peace? Then do what God tells you to do.

The Cost Of Education
After jumping through a few hoops, it looks like I've been accepted to the Computer Information Systems Network Specialist Associates Degree Program at Fox Vally Technical College. I'm basing this statement on the fact that the college sent me a $950 bill for the classes in which I've enrolled. Oh, well. Easy come, easy go. I'm hoping the VA Education Assistance advance makes it here before April 20 when I have to pay for classes, but I'm not holding my breath. Few people know the frustration of navigating the maze of military benefits. The tuition and cost of books will lighten my wallet considerably, but most of the jobs I've applied for require some sort of degree and work experience.

I slapped myself on the forehead this morning and said, "Oh, yeah," after remembering this bit of information out of the blue. It's strange what your brain is working on in the background while you're thinking of other things. It really is an amazing piece of machinery.

So instead of wallowing in self-pity and that nonsense please bring the alcohol, bring the noise, bring the sex, bring me the radio show, bring me communion, just bring it so the weekend goes fast, hard and very fucking loud. Bring it so sleep and exhaustion become the only reason to rest. Bring it so Monday can come and my mind and body keeps busy so I can get all this shit done and over with.
Nihilism never sounds so sweet and tempting. And I will indulge. Oh yes, I will indulge.
Some might say I might harm myself by doing this. Fuck that! I'm already hurt, so bring the pain as well.
